My Grammie posted photos from my younger days on earlier posts, but she’s dropped the ball lately and hasn’t posted anymore pictures in a long time. Next time I want cheering up I’ll read The Meryl Streep Movie Club by this same author.Whoa! Did you say I’m one year old today! No way! I highly recommend Finding Colin Firth to anyone who is looking for a light, happy read. The plot had enough happening to keep me entertained, along with pie, romance, mystery, hope, friendships and that wonderful feel-good factor.
I would have enjoyed this story without Colin Firth, though. She’s not madly in lust with Colin Firth (she’s a bit too young for him really) but otherwise, she is equally as lovely as the other two heroines.Įvery chapter started with the line drawing of Colin Firth that is on the cover, and let me tell you, they never got old! There were loads of references to Colin Firth’s movies and while none of the characters were obsessed with him, they liked him enough for me to like them.
