Being born was hard work, but here I am one year later – a big girl! My Grammie posted photos from my younger days on earlier posts, but she’s dropped the ball lately and hasn’t posted anymore pictures in a long time. Veronica’s salted caramel cheesecake pie is known as ‘Hope Pie’, key lime is ‘Confidence Pie’ and blueberry is a ‘Feel-Better Pie’. She is a baker and is known around town for her pies which have a bit of magic in them. It tells the story of three women one summer, as a film starring Colin Firth is being filmed in their home town of Boothbay Harbor in Maine. ‘I’m fully aware that if I were to change professions tomorrow, become an astronaut and be the first man to land on Mars, the headline in the newspapers would read: “Mr Darcy Lands on Mars”.’įinding Colin Firth is a feel-good book.
