As anger grows and tension builds even stronger, both heroes continue to fight. Surprisingly, Athena deceitfully helps him. The two of them battle out their problems, Achilles taking the first swing but he missed. With Athena’s assurance that he will have the help of his brother, Hector mans up and faces Achilles first asking him not to hurt his body if he looses the battle but of course he denied his request. Achilles chased him around the city walls of Troy three times. Although he thinks he’s ready to fight Achilles, once he arrives he gets scared and runs away. Everybody thinks he’s going to loose the battle against Achilles but he chooses to go against everyone else’s better judgement and stand outside the city gates.
